I came in for a consultation on what to do for a temporary tooth following surgery for an implant. Dr. Taylor thoroughly discussed the options, advantages, disadvantages and cost of each option. He listened to my concerns and helped me come to a decision. His assistant then made the necessary molds and I was on my way. I strongly recommend Dr. Taylor and his staff.

Absolute best there is. I’ve been going to Dr. Taylor for almost a decade now. Cleanings, crowns, you name it, they do a phenomenal job. The entire staff at Mountain River Dental is amazing. Dentist offices usually get a bad rep but this office is nothing but a pleasure, every time.

I’ve been going to Mountain River Dental for about 4 years and absolutely love it! Every hygienist who’s given me a cleaning has done such an amazing job. Recently, Abby specifically really went above and beyond to educate me about my specific needs. I really appreciate Dr. Taylor’s laid-back attitude. Today was my initial visit with Mountain River Dental. They were all very welcoming, professional and efficient. More important, there were no surprises regarding billing and they also contacted my insurance company to verify scheduled future costs. I would highly recommend them.

Great dental practice!! Dr. Taylor and his team were able to see my husband and me on fairly short notice. This was our first visit and we immediately felt comfortable with the staff. They were all welcoming, very friendly and helpful. The hygienist was thorough and gentle, she really did a great job! Dr Taylor came in and introduced himself, did an exam and asked if we had concerns. We will be back in 6 months! Thank you for your care!

I broke a tooth. My old dentist has passed. I called MRD, they asked if I could get there in 15 minutes, I did, and I was seen about as soon as I did the paperwork. Dr. Taylor, easy-going, worked on it a little bit and it was out. A very satisfying and easy to do experience. It didn’t hurt then and still doesn’t 6 hours later. I’m going to see him the next time I need something.

The staff was very friendly and happy, but I would say the main reason I went in is because I had a cracked painful tooth. They seen me but did not help. Ended up telling me about all the other things I needed done and said they had to wait 2 weeks for my insurance to go through to even do a cleaning. I left having to deal with the pain and then my insurance said they billed for a cleaning which I did not receive on the day of my visit. Not sure why they would bill. I chose this office because this was the only office close and they took Medicaid. So ended up going to an office an hour away that took my insurance and helped me with all my questions and had me scheduled for a cleaning even same day if I wanted.

Very friendly, caring and thorough staff. Got me in quickly. Had a reaction to meds and the doctor was fantastic and quickly changed it. He took the time to explain.long term results vs short financial savings so I could make an informed decision. I purchased one of the Phillips Sonic care brushes and the receptionist tried to find me a rebate savings without me asking. Highly recommended ????!

Best Dentist I have ever experienced anywhere! Worth driving over 10 hours from home would come back in a heartbeat even from that far away.On Thursday September 10th 2020 I was several days into a road trip with my family. As many have experienced because of covid 19 its been over a year since I have had the opportunity to even see my parents and we decide to take our short time together by doing a road trip from Colorado to Yellowstone. Well after two sleepless nights from excruciating pain in one of my lower right teeth I thought i was going to have to cut short my trip and wait till next year to see my parents again. I called my insurance company and there was only a handful of dentist in a 50 mile radius from where we were in Jackson, Wyoming. I called the first two and both almost immediately before I got started asked if I was a tourist and when I said yes they told me they would not see me. I begged them that I was in intense pain and they said just go to the Emergancy room. From 10 years of experience working in Ers and 911 ems I knew the er could only lower the pain but would not be able to perform the necessary procedure needed. Thats when I called location number 3 which was a decent distance from our location in Victor, ID. I spoke with Ruthie I belive and she was very sweet and understanding. I begged her if there was anyway I could be seen and she said she could get me in at 1130. I jumped right in the car and arrived over an hour early for my appointment. They just finished with their previous patient and brought me in right away. Everyone in the staff was incredible, friendly and knowledgeable. I have never had a root canal or any major things other than fillings. They as soon as the xray was done and they confirmed my worries I immediately tensed up. The explained everything to me and reassured me i was in good hands. Now mind you im over 10 hours away from home. Have no idea how I’m going to feel during and after this procedure. Dr Tristan Taylor walked in and even under his mask I could see he had a huge smile and was just had that warm up the room personality. He started with an injection into the gumline which I didn’t even realize he finished thats how gentle he was. Than for the next 40 or so minutes Dr Tristan and his Gayle worked on the massive absoces and root canel. I almost didn’t even feel the very little pressure and zero pain. I couldn’t belive how easy and quick the experiance was. I have heard nothing but horror stories about root canals and clearly all those people have never been here. If I ever need another root canal I will indeed drive the 10+ hours and wait however long I need to to have this amazing team do it for me. I cannot say enough everyone at this location was incredible and I promise you it will be the best decision you have made for your teeth and wallet. Everyone here is the reason I got to continue our road trip and not miss out on precious time with my family pain free.

This was my first time to Mtn. River Dental. I was very pleased with the receptionist, dental hygienist as well as the doctor. He came up with a plan for my continued care and was very conscientious not to have me spend all of my insurance money at the start of the year (wait til the end of the year for a crown). I would highly recommend this office.

Dr. Taylor is an expert in his field. He does a thorough job and is extremely kind. He makes sure you understand what is going on and what he will be doing. I also heard him talking in Spanish, so he is bilingual. Also his staff is very professional and skilled in their positions.
